Case Introduction
Located at the Shanghai South Railway Station hub in Xuhui Central City, Shanghai, and connecting Lines 1, 3, and 15, it is a benchmark project for Vanke's iterative upgrade from TOD to POD (Transportation + Park Oriented Development). With a total construction area of approximately 100,000 square meters, the project breaks away from traditional enclosed box-style commercial buildings, creating an "URBAN CARPET" one-kilometer ecological green axis that connects sunken courtyards, stepped plazas, multi-level terrace gardens, and rooftop spaces. Positioned as a "downtown entertainment hub," it integrates centralized shopping centers and open-style neighborhoods, bringing together more than 200 brands covering a diverse range of formats such as trendy retail, themed dining, parent-child experiences, outdoor sports, cultural and creative arts, and anime fashion. Relying on the entire Xuhui Vanke Center office cluster, it caters to the needs of business professionals, surrounding residents, and young communities, seamlessly interweaving commerce, office space, and urban green spaces to create an urban ecological commercial landmark that integrates shopping, sports, arts and culture, leisure, and social interaction.
